End of Europe
Saturday, July 23, 2011

From all the places that I have been to in this Europe spree, Zagreb was my last stop. Previously, there was a 'WOW' factor in every single stop I made (and boy, is that a lot). However, in Zagreb, what there is, is an absence of 'WOW'-ness. What there is, however, is a constant and pretty often thought of ...'nice', 'nice', 'nice'.

In a way, Zagreb reminded me of Melbourne. The walkways, the parks... It is parks after parks after parks. You must be thinking, omg that sounds boring. But I think that there is something about parks, about the greens, about the fountains that always seem fresh in my mind. I just can't help but having this satisfactory feeling everytime I passed by the parks. One thing great about Zagreb is that it is not touristy at all. It isn't flooded with tourists like how Barcelona or Rome is. It is a quiet, quiet city (in terms of busy-ness) and just nice for a stroll. Therefore, I would conclude that Zagreb was a nice ending to my Europe trip =).

Where to next? Scotland! Sigh... another 4 days of travelling. But, can't wait!

Maybe I will update the blog with my travel stories. But don't count on it. Don't count on me, rather. I am pretty notorious for being a lazy blogger.
